I’m taking the opportunity this week to “interrupt” the string of other people’s God stories I’ve been posting lately to share an exciting God story of my own.

Many of you have been following me for years and watching my writing journey unfold.

It has definitely felt like a series of baby steps as I’ve continually surrendered my writing to God and have asked Him to use it, grow it, and work through it to, ultimately, glorify His name.

In a variety of ways, He has used so many of you to help do that.

Early last year, multiple people asked me when I was going to write my next book (two are already on the market and, apparently, folks didn’t feel that the world had heard enough of my voice yet).

I heard each of you and took all of those loving prompts as God-nudges.

And so, I’m thrilled to share with you that my third devotion-style book, Reach for the Son, is complete and currently available online at Amazon and Barnes and Noble!

Reach for the Son is a heartfelt collection of short devotions and prayers designed to lift your heart, strengthen your faith, and remind you of God’s great love.

Each chapter includes a key Bible verse, insightful stories, biblical application, and a short prayer to encourage and inspire you, no matter where you are in your faith journey.

My hope and prayer is that this book will be a blessing to you and worth sharing with others.

If you choose to get one, I’d love to eventually hear your thoughts (your feedback helps immensely with future marketing and promotional materials).

To those of you who read my posts, buy my books, share my blog or website, and reach out to me with constant words of encouragement and affirmation, thank you.

I began this writing journey officially in 2019 praying that just one person would be eternally benefitted by what God would give me to say.

My prayer every week is that at least one person would be reached and moved closer to Jesus because of my blog, my books, my words.

My prayer every day is that God would continue to use us – me and you – to make the world a better and brighter place.

“Be generous with the different things God gave you…if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and He’ll get all the credit…” (I Peter 4:10 MSG)

(Next week, we’ll return to our God Story series. I hope you’ve been enjoying them!

Remember, your life is a gift to the world and your God story matters.

Someone needs to hear it.)

Until next time, Grace and Glory!
