People love stories.

Jesus taught with stories and used them to help us better understand the Kingdom of God.

Stories can encourage, inspire, challenge, and help us as we travel along life’s highway together.

Stories remind us that we’re not alone. They show us places and spaces where others have had joys, sorrows, victories, and defeats like we have.

Stories help us learn and better understand each other.

Stories touch our hearts and help us grow in our compassion towards one another.

Stories bring us together because stories remind us of our universal humanity.

For those of you who have been following me for a bit, you know that a couple decades ago (in a life and a galaxy far, far away) I was a journalist who wrote feature stories for print.

Recently, while praying, I was impressed by the Lord on how I might use this blogging platform to share some God stories with you – not mine, but others.

I immediately went to work collecting some of these incredible stories from folks that I know.

I will post the first one next week.

The stories I’ll be showcasing are from regular people whose lives are being (or have been) forever changed by God.

They would be the first to tell you there is nothing “special” about themselves other than they are the objects of a Holy God’s deepest affections and richest mercies.

Their stories are being shared with their permission and the prayerful expectancy that each one would be a blessing to you.

May you find yourself in the different narratives; may you discover the same Hope these individuals have found; and may your life be transformed because of the God they testify about.

Additionally, if you have a God story you’d like to share, I would love to hear it! Reach out to me using this contact page to connect.

Your life is a gift to the world and your God story matters. Someone needs to hear it.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” (I Thessalonians 5:11)

Until next time, Grace and Glory!
